Other Thoughts

Step Eleven calls attention to the need to nurture your contact with your Higher Power or Program on a daily basis. This happens through prayer and meditation (see that module).

It is important to remember that whatever your situation in life, there is important work to be done. You can fulfill the purpose that God, your Higher Power, Program, or fate has for you. Think of the spirit of a wheelchair athlete, who instead of becoming bitter and of no use to himself or anyone else, says “I can’t run -- but I can race!”
